Start a New Game Plus- One really great way for a player to spend their time after completing the game is to start it all over again. This may sound a little ridiculous, but players are able to restart the game with New Game Plus activated in order to keep all of their weapons and upgrades on a new playthrough. This is actually a great way to play as players will be given the opportunity to use new attacks and abilities early on in the game as well as easily collect more resources and XP to unlock the more difficult to obtain skills.

Complete All The Challenge Tombs- One of the most fun aspects of the Tomb Raider games are the different Challenge Tombs that players can explore. These hidden tombs typically force players to solve some kind of environmental puzzles or navigate extremely difficult terrain in order to complete them. At the end of each is a reward for the player's troubles that make them very fun to complete.

Check Out All The Side Quests- There are other interesting side-activities for players to complete as well. Throughout the game's world are certain NPCs that will offer players quests to go complete that range from killing enemies, collecting specific resources, or traveling to new areas. These quests tend to add some more backstory to the world of Rise of the Tomb Raider and can give out some really fun rewards.

Get the DLC- There is a lot of DLC available for Rise of the Tomb Raider, and those who have the 20th Year Celebration Edition have access to it all for free. These DLC add some really interesting stories like the Baba Yaga plotline that tasks players with tracking down a dangerous witch or Blood Ties that lets players explore Croft Manor and uncover secrets from Lara's past.

Unlock All Items From Supply Shack- Early on in the game players will come across an item store called the Supply Shack that is being run by one of the enemies in the game. This shop owner promises to do trade with Lara for the rest of the game as long as she can provide him with Byzantine Coins. A great way to spend time is by obtaining these coins and unlocking brand new items like weapons or parts that can make Lara's travels easier.

Try a Higher Difficulty- For players who can't get enough of the game's story, but felt that their playthrough was too easy, they can always start a new game and bump up the difficulty. This will allow players to face off against more dangerous enemies while having access to less supplies throughout the world. This is perfect for players who want to play as a true survivor.

Collect All Weapon Parts- Weapon parts are integral to earning weapons throughout the game. By acquiring certain pieces, players are actually able to craft all-new weapons that they can use in combat. Weapon parts are spread all throughout the world, so tracking them all down can be a really fun challenge.

Upgrade All The Weapons- Once players have acquired all the weapons in the game, they may find that they still aren't packing the punch that they want. If that is the case then players can travel around and find different resources throughout the world in order to upgrade their weapons. Weapon upgrades can improve the abilities of each individual weapon considerably, so this is a very effective use of the player's time.

Unlock All Outfits- Another great way to spend time in Rise of the Tomb Raider is by unlocking all of the different outfits throughout the world. Outfits can provide players with brand new looks for Lara with some being completely new and others being based on her previous adventurers. On top of this, some of these new outfits can also provide Lara with considerable boosts to her abilities.
